Serving a community of diverse neighborhoods, the employees of Olmsted Township will perform in a coordinated, collaborative, ethical and fiscally responsible manner to provide greater access to services, encourage a vibrant quality of life and create a sense of confidence and connection among residents and themselves.
Happy New Year!
We appreciate your support over the past year. The Board of Trustees and Fiscal Officer with our staff remain committed to providing the quality of services that make Olmsted Township a great place to live and work. We are proud to provide trained and responsive safety services through police and fire, an on-task service department to maintain our road system and a full-service building department.
Your financial support has allowed the Board to plan and complete this year:
- $900,000 in repairs on Township roads
- Bronson-Barton-Cook – sewer/water/road construction
- Sidewalks at the west end of Laurel Lane and on Cook Road connecting Timber Lane to the Greenbrooke Plaza
Working toward completion by Spring 2018:
- Bagley Road from Old Fitch to Stearns and from Stearns to the Lorain County Line
- Service Complex/ Phase 1- completion of a salt bin built to handle snow/ice service on our 44 miles of Township & County roads
- Sidewalks along Fitch Road through a NOACA grant
We appreciate your support and are mindful of our responsibility to be good stewards of the tax dollars we all invest in our community. We invite you to attend a Trustee meeting (second and fourth Wednesday of each month).
Finally, the Board of Trustees and Fiscal Officer join with our Staff in a pledge to serve you, the residents and the businesses that call Olmsted Township “home”.
Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2018.
