Police Department

The Mission of the Olmsted Township Police Department is to continuously strive to protect and promote a safe community environment for both residents and visitors in a fair, impartial, and professional manner. Every member of the department shall ensure that our community remains the ideal place to live, work, and raise a family. Every member of the department shall deliver the highest level of integrity and police services to the community, and ensure this integrity is maintained through the public trust of the community.

“The duties which a police officer owes to the state and community are of a most exacting nature. No one is compelled to choose the profession of a police officer, but having chosen it, everyone is obliged to live up to the highest standard of its requirements. To join in that high enterprise means the surrender of much individual freedom.
