Brush Chipping
Through the Department of Public Service, Olmsted Township offers to their residents a Brush Chipping Program.
Drag your branches out toward the street and lay them parallel with the roadway, large end of the branch going with traffic. Leaving the branches as long as possible means less clean up time for the resident and a quicker load time for our workers. Be sure not to hinder traffic or pedestrians with the brush that you are setting out for pickup.
Brush chipping takes place on the last Monday of each month, April through October. If the last Monday is a holiday, or the participation by residents exceeds our normal work hours, we will continue the brush chipping on Tuesday.
If you have any questions or need further information, please call the Service Department at 440-235-1011.
