Invitation to Bid
The Olmsted Township Board of Trustees is accepting sealed bids for its sale of the following parcel of vacant land: 7600 Block Stearns Road, Olmsted Township, Cuyahoga County, Ohio 44138 (Parcel No. 264-15-025). The parcel is zoned in accordance with the Olmsted Township Zoning Resolution under the classification residential, and is offered AS IS.
Title is held by the Olmsted Township Land Reutilization Program, and the Board of Trustees will convey the parcel by warranty deed, without title commitment.
In order to be considered, bids must be received no later than May 25, 2022, at 7:00p.m. All bids must be submitted in separate sealed envelopes addressed to the Olmsted Township Board of Trustees, 7900 Fitch Road, Olmsted Township, Ohio 44138, and marked “Bid Enclosed: 7600 Block Stearns Road Property.” Bids will be publicly opened on May 25, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.

Now Hiring Part-Time Firefighters/Paramedics
The Olmsted Township Fire Department is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Firefighter/ Paramedic. Applicants must possess a valid State of Ohio Paramedic Certification and a valid State of Ohio Firefighter I and II Certification at the time of application. Applicants must also possess a current Cuyahoga Community College Physical Agility Test with a passing time of 4 minutes and 30 seconds as established by the Northeast Ohio Fire Chiefs Association, no more than one year old at the time of application. Jennings Road/Ohio Turnpike & Infrastructure Commission Project
Beginning May 9, the Ohio Turnpike & Infrastructure Commission will begin bridge repair and rehabilitation to Jennings Road over the Ohio Turnpike. In order to perform the necessary repairs, a road closure on Jennings Road will be required. The approved detour plan is detailed here. Notice of Closure signs will be posted at least 21 days in advance of the road closure. Once closed, Jennings Road will remain closed for approximately four months. Heritage Home Program Virtual Information Presentations
Do you own a home that was built before 1972? You qualify for free technical assistance and low-interest loans to cover the costs of home restoration projects through the Heritage Home Program.
HHP is offering virtual information sessions beginning at 6pm on the following dates:
