The Olmsted Township Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on July 29, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. at the Olmsted Township Hall, located at 26900 Cook Road, Olmsted Township, Ohio 44138, for the recommendation and approval from the Olmsted Township Zoning Commission which is proposed as an amendment to the Olmsted Township Zoning Resolution. This proposed amendment is designated as Olmsted Township Zoning Amendment Number 20OLMT -ZC003 and would, if adopted, revise numerous textual provisions of the Zoning Resolution as it relates to the following areas: Amending Section 111.02(b) by adding definitions of Cemetery Funeral Home and Large Lot Cemetery and amending and renumbering Section 210.02 to provide for accessory uses and structures associated with a Large Lot Cemetery; amending Section 210.03 by adding Large Lot Cemetery as a permitted use in the R-R and R-40 districts and as conditional use in R-30 and R-15 districts, with all such proposed textual revisions being reflected in the Zoning Amendment Text having a cover page entitled “Olmsted Township Zoning Amendment Number 20OLMT-ZC003” dated May 28, 2020. The text of this proposed amendment to the Zoning Resolution will be available for public examination from July 16, 2020 through July 29, 2020, inclusive, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Olmsted Township Administrative Offices, located at 7900 Fitch Road, Olmsted Township, Ohio 44138.
